We’ve provided over 300 varieties of fresh fruit and vegetables to families like yours for 25 years. As the land had been agricultural for generations, the next step was to start a farm. Since then, our community-supported farm has provided organig food to literally hundreds of families, with surplus going to a local food bank.

Our Summer season runs for 24 weeks from the last week in May through the beginning of November. Pickups happen on our farm with the option for members to come anytime during our pickup hours. Each share includes weekly access to our pick-your-own fields full of beautiful flowers, aromatic herbs, sweet to scorching hot peppers, juicy cherry tomatoes, and much more.

Jay Grisalfi brought members of his Life Skills class from CVHS to plant 200 Black Chokeberry and Elderberry in our swale. The PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources donated the plants, which will help manage runoff and provide nutritious fruit in return. We are managing the land with sustainable techniques, conserving our natural resources for future generations. Local elementary and high school groups visit Homefields to learn about ecology and sustainability. Homefields Care Farm provides opportunities for people of all abilities.
